The Reading Rocks makes author events subscriptions affordable and accessible to schools. We take all the heavy lifting out of arranging author events by finding and booking author (and illustrator) events for all primary and EYFS reading levels. All you need to do is purchase a subscription and start choosing your events!
You’ll get 6 credits a year with your subscription and each event costs just one credit! It represents incredible value for money as you’ll pay much less that if the author did a dedicated author event for your school.
Subscriptions are available on an annual basis with pricing based in your schools size. From July 2023 the pricing will be as follows for the 2023/24 academic year.
You can buy subscriptions on our website here. You can paying using a credit or debit card or using PayPal.

To check how many credits you have available you can simply go to your ‘My Account’ page and you’ll see your available credits (you’ll need to be logged in to do this):
The full calendar of events is on our website you can choose to view it in calendar view or list view by clicking ‘List’ as shown on the image below on desktop and on mobile it will always show a list of events. You can also search for an event if you already know what you want. This is best done in list view as in calendar view it will only search in the current month.
